Stasia Suicide started modeling as a teenager, doing print work in newspaper & magazine ads for local clothing companies as well as club flyers for rave parties in the early nineties. She found it very frustrating because people were always telling her how beautiful she was and how she should take her modeling career to the next level, but at the same time was told by many agents that she was either too fat or too short. She gave up on modeling for many years because of this. Then one day she received an email from a friend telling her about a new website called the Suicide Girls. She had always been fascinated by pinup culture & fashion, so when she visited the website she was amazed to see that modern girls with tattoos & piercings had merged these two cultures together. She realized that she may have finally found a home for her modeling. And was officially accepted into SG in February of 2004, with her first photoshoot debuting on August 2nd of 2004. She was quite nervous that she would be ridiculed yet again for being "too fat" but she received the exact opposite result. Numerous amounts of girls contacted her calling her an inspiration for all the girls out there that were REAL WOMEN! Since then she has done numerous interviews, photoshoots, music videos, film, TV & commercial appearances that have continued to inspire other girls out there and showed them that you don't have to starve yourself to be "beautiful" & that it's okay to be yourself!
