Miss Latina Canada 2007By Andrew Rudder for Pulp Magazine
In August of 2006 Mariana Valente participated in Miss Latina Canada World 2007, which is a national beauty pageant that impacts the community at large as it is a celebration of Latin culture & beauty, the prowess of womanhood & resplendently fine femininity, and the pride of being Canadian; and for those who werent in attendance please allow me to give you a quick rundown.
After all the special performances by the super-talented artists, a swimsuit competition that whisked away the minds of the men in attendance into an epicurean Eden, and an evening gown competition that epitomized the perfect balance of exquisiteness, class and sensuality accentuated by the melodic Latin voice of Visionero, the group of seventeen beautiful senoritas was narrowed down to six final contestants. After the question period it was now the time that everyone in attendance was anxiously waiting for; it was time to crown the winner and the tension was so high that you could literally cut through it with a knife! After these six lovely young ladies took their rightful place on the stage for the last time and the hosts (Daniela Cruz & Santiago Oseguera) called the 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner ups, the group of six finalists was now narrowed down to two: Stephany Garcia Miss Latina Woodbridge and Mariana Valente Miss Latina Thornhill. Both ladies clenched hands fighting back mixed emotions of resplendent rapture that spawned tears of joy, and the utter disbelief that they had about making it so far into the competition and being on the verge of claiming the crown. Then the hosts made that one announcement where a finalist doesnt want to hear her name, The first-runnerup is . . . Stephany Garcia, which meant that the winner of Miss Latina Canada World 2007 is Miss Mariana Valente Miss Latina Thornhill. a woman imbued with such fine fair femininity and boundless beauty. Much to the delight of the newly found adoring fans in attendance who were won over by her fine flower like femininity, boundless beauty, enchanting splendour and eloquent responses, Mariana Valente was crowned your 2007 winner. Congratulations Mariana Valente from myself who was in attendance at the event and everyone else here at Pulp Magazine!!!
