Chantal “Teezy” Simone

Teezy: Some of the bad things about having an extended family are that you feel as though you have a million people who are all up in your business. There are so many different points of views and trying to please everyone is impossible, but the good things that over power the bad is the love, caring, and warmth that comes along with an extended family; plus I know that I have a army of people that are ready to throw down for me (laughing). Andrew: When did you decide that you wanted to pursue a career in modeling and that you possessed the requisite talent and drive to succeed in this competitive industry? Teezy: How I started modeling was by fluke to be honest. I went to Miami this past March for spring break and while I was on Ocean Dr I meet a photographer we did a shoot and I was very happy with the pictures. I posted them on Model Mayhem and Myspace with the support of my friends "same group" and it all started from there. I feel you need to have the drive to succeed in any industry whether it's working at McDonald's or Modeling. There is always someone out there that feels they can do the job better than you. In order to succeed in anything you need to stay focused, be determined, and always give 110% of yourself.
