Known to many as Castro, I am half Colombian and Cuban and 19 years old to sum up the basics. I was born and raised in the heart of Toronto. My background is ½ Columbian ½ Cuban. I currently live with my mother and my dog. I am taking online courses to keep my head in school and plan to attend University in the fall to take Criminology and Forensics. My ultimate long term goal is to one day work for the CIA for FBI once I have gained extensive skills and experience within the field.
I have been modeling now for just about a year and I enjoy it very much. I schedule various photo shoots with many photographers in an attempt to expand my portfolio and gain as much experience as possible. Also, I have done tradeshows such as the Everything to do with Sex Show and Import fest just to name a couple. I have also done many fashion shows and have been a featured model on a number of websites. I also have an extensive resume of promotional modeling as well. I have done a Ms. Triumph promo, LG Promo, RSVP by Kenneth Cole promo, Budweiser promo for the super bowl and many more. I also appeared on the Grill Room for Sun TV, a Coca Cola Commercial and did the Alternative Fashion Week in Toronto also known as F.A.T.
I enjoy modeling but more importantly I enjoy life to the fullest. It is in my belief that it is nice to be pretty but one day your looks will no longer be enough and if you dont have the brains to back up the beauty, youll pretty much be have nothing to fall back on. So although I enjoy modeling I also know that I have a code of ethics and morals that I follow.

My general philosophy of life is, If you never try and fail, youll never succeed. Now I know everyone must be wondering about that statement but let me explain. What I meant was simply this it takes a lot of trial and error to make who a person truly is. It is threw this trial and error that we find in ourselves and others what we truly want in life. Stasia Suicide started modeling as a teenager, doing print work in newspaper & magazine ads for local clothing companies as well as club flyers for rave parties in the early nineties. She found it very frustrating because people were always telling her how beautiful she was and how she should take her modeling career to the next level, but at the same time was told by many agents that she was either too fat or too short. She gave up on modeling for many years because of this. Then one day she received an email from a friend telling her about a new website called the Suicide Girls. In August of 2006 Mariana Valente participated in Miss Latina Canada World 2007, which is a national beauty pageant that impacts the community at large as it is a celebration of Latin culture & beauty, the prowess of womanhood & resplendently fine femininity, and the pride of being Canadian; and for those who werent in attendance please allow me to give you a quick rundown.
After all the special performances by the super-talented artists, a swimsuit competition that whisked away the minds of the men in attendance into an epicurean Eden, and an evening gown competition that epitomized the perfect balance of exquisiteness, class and sensuality accentuated by the melodic Latin voice of Visionero, the group of seventeen beautiful senoritas was narrowed down to six final contestants. After the question period it was now the time that everyone in attendance was anxiously waiting for; it was time to crown the winner and the tension was so high that you could literally cut through it with a knife! After these six lovely young ladies took their rightful place on the stage for the last time and the hosts (Daniela Cruz & Santiago Oseguera) called the 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner ups, the group of six finalists was now narrowed down to two: Stephany Garcia Miss Latina Woodbridge and Mariana Valente Miss Latina Thornhill. Both ladies clenched hands fighting back mixed emotions of resplendent rapture that spawned tears of joy, and the utter disbelief that they had about making it so far into the competition and being on the verge of claiming the crown. Marcy: Ok then, my ethnic background is Irish. My family came to the Ottawa area and then migrated out to the country. My parents and my grandparents live north of Kingston on farms. They are the people I surround myself with as they are my main line of support.
As for my philosophy in life, I tend to be a little more relaxed and laid back. I know that when bad things happen its better to relax and work through the hard times, instead of stressing out too much over it. Luana was born in Manila within the Philippines, but grew up on the tropical island of Maui in Hawaii. Laura: I always did want to be a model, but being there I realized that it wasnt worth it to pursue a modeling career in Costa Rica, because there wasnt a lot of opportunities for models. Although Grace has been on the scene for two years now, her journey actually began around four years ago where she entered to win a model search contest conducted by a Toronto based agency that she read about in the newspaper one day, I didn't win, but weeks later, an agent called and asked me to meet with her . . . at the time, they mentioned I should take the modeling course they provided and I couldn't afford it... I was still in school, and wanted to complete my education - so I didn't bother with it. 2 years later, I called up the agent who had originally called me 2 years prior, she remembered me and from there I took the course and here I am. Here she is today doing her thing and showing no signs of slowing down. Grace has never been the type of woman to settle for the same job for a long time, so with a desire for change she constantly wants to challenge herself and try to learn something new so she has no regrets in life when she looks back on what she has done. Giselle: Well, I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. My background is 100% Ecuadorian and very proud of it! My general philosophy of life is, If you never try and fail, youll never succeed. Now I know everyone must be wondering about that statement but let me explain. What I meant was simply this it takes a lot of trial and error to make who a person truly is. It is threw this trial and error that we find in ourselves and others what we truly want in life. This goes for every type of relationship you may have in life, business or pleasure. One must understand that failure is just as much a success because it helps us grow as an individual. So I have learned threw trying and failing as well as threw trying and succeeding how to get what I want and to get where I want in life. It seems confusing but a very simple philosophy I like to live by day to day. In terms of modeling, I enjoy it because it allows me to escape reality for those hours and become someone or something else. More often than not, during photo shoots you work with different photographers that require a variety of characteristics from you. You must be able to convert yourself from perhaps being a shy school girl in one frame to a legend like Marilyn Monroe in the next. Its all about variety and being able to feel the role to make it real enough to believe. Its all real fun.
